Rewards of Membership

If you think you'd like to join us....

There's something special about being a posse member. Aside from the pride of being part of a group with such a rich history, there's the satisfaction that comes with helping others. Whether it's the big smile on the face of a special needs child mounted on your horse, or the excitement and happiness of kids watching a parade, nothing beats it! It's knowing that Pierce County is a little better because of you, your horse, and your team.

There are a lot of riding groups, drill teams, and clubs in our county. But the Pierce County Sheriff's Mounted Posse is the only community service organization on horseback.
